Ocroma is about to launch the first private equity fund-of-funds for Brazil and Latin America. The fund will build a portfolio of best-of-breed country-specific funds and regional funds in the region, with a core position in Brazil. Ocroma PE I will diversify its holdings among a broad array of stages, including venture capital and buyout, thus highly mitigating the downside associated with private equity investments. It will also undertake co-investment opportunities, thus increasing the return and enhancing the diversification of the fund.
